We encourage our guests to really immerse themselves in Nicaragua. A tourist only experiences one side of a country and doesn’t always see the full picture, which is why we offer an alternative tourism option: experience the country from the perspective the Nicaraguan people.
On an alternative tour, not only do you travel around Nicaragua and see it’s true beauty, but you will also learn from community leaders, experts, and health care professionals. You’ll have opportunities to work side-by-side in solidarity with Nicaraguans and hear their experiences in their own words. This package includes all lodging, meals, transport, a bilingual guide, and is the experience of a lifetime. Themes include:
Community health care & Socialized Medicine
Sustainable Agriculture
Organic Coffee
Liberation Theology
Revolutionary Art & Muralism
Artisan Life
