The Nicaraguan Revolution guarantees health care to every individual in Nicaragua. Learn about the evolution of Nicaragua's public healthcare system over the past 50 years, including healthcare under the Somoza dictatorship, eradication of childhood illnesses with the Sandinista Revolution, regression under neoliberal governments, and restoration of rights to quality health care since 2007. All speakers live and work in Nicaragua.
